Limits & important notes
The AI model (about 26 MB) downloads the first time you press Run and is then kept by your browser. Results depend on contrast between subject and background; check fine details such as hair before publishing.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The image is decoded, cut out and saved entirely inside your browser with a self-hosted AI model. Only the model file itself is downloaded from this website; your photo never leaves your device.
How do I get the cleanest cut-out?
Use a sharp photo where the subject is clearly separated from the background, with even light. Choose Soft edges for people and pets and Crisp edges for products. Very busy backgrounds or subjects the same colour as the background are the hardest cases.
Is there a watermark or a size limit?
There is no watermark and no account. Photos up to 25 MB are accepted; images larger than 4,096 pixels on the longest side are scaled down to that size to keep your browser responsive.
