Frequently asked questions

How does this AI detector work?

It measures writing patterns that language models produce more often than people: very even sentence lengths (low burstiness), stock words and phrases such as “delve” or “it is important to note”, sentences that open with transitions, uniform paragraphs, few contractions and frequent lists of three. Each signal is scored and combined into a 0–100 AI-likeness score.

Is the AI detector accurate?

No AI detector is fully reliable, including paid ones. Pattern-based scores can flag careful human writing and miss AI text that someone has edited. Treat the result as a prompt to look closer, not as evidence.

Is my text uploaded or saved?

No. The analysis runs entirely in your browser. The text you paste is not sent to our server or to any AI service.

Which languages does it support?

It is tuned for English. It also recognizes common AI phrases in French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Tagalog, Chinese, Arabic and Punjabi, but results in those languages are less reliable.
